A portrait shaped by history and place
Reflection is a monumental sculptural portrait created for Ocean Terrace Park in Miami Beach. The work honors the women of the U.S. Coast Guard Women’s Reserve and creates a powerful relationship between the human form, landscape, and reflecting water.
BEK supported the translation of the artist’s vision into a durable large-scale installation through precise digital development, fabrication planning, full-size production, and detailed surface execution.
The completed 25-foot artwork appears to emerge from the park itself, allowing its reflection and surrounding vegetation to become part of the composition.
